Wes Brown

Wes Brown has established himself as one of Hollywood’s youngest and most talented young directors. At the age of 25 he has already worked on over 12 films—three as Directed. He comes from a lineage of filmmakers, his grandfather Bruce Brown made the surf cult classic film The Endless Summer in 1964, as well as the Oscar nominated On Any Sunday in 1972. Then in the early 1990’s with Bruce, Wes’s father Dana Brown made the film The Endless Summer II, he then went on to Direct both Step into Liquid and Dust to Glory with Wes. Wes was assistant director on both the latter films, and has directed three amazing surf films with his Partner T.J. Barrack, Islands in the Stream, Chasing Dora, and Peel.
