Richard
Corwin
Richard Corwin is an Emmy Award winning Supervising Sound
Editor, "Max Headroom" who has been a leader in
digital audio and its application for TV and feature post
production. He started the Editors Guild union training program
for DAW audio editing and developed a software program that
bridged the transition by translating film methods to digital
workspaces.
His career started in commercials, educationals and he Produced
documentaries and television animation. He was at the forefront
of Disney Studios and Paramount Studios transition from film
to digital editing. His body of work includes such films as
Titanic, 4 Star Treks and well over 60 feature films and 100s
of hour of TV.
He Created
and has Produced Digital Days for 6 years. He is also the
Producer of the Santa Barbara Caribbean Festival.
Richard sits on the board of advisors for Santa Barbara City
College SOMA and R.S.C.C.D Santa Ana College, Digital Media
Center.
