Ivan
Dutoit
Ivan Dutoit founded Livebreak Entertainment, a company that
specializes in content creation, interactivity and convergence
between traditional media (film and TV) and new media (cellular
phones and Internet content). He has been a script doctor
and content analyst for the top Canadian film institutions
such as Telefilm Canada and SODEC and major Canadian production/animation
companies and headed development for film production players
such as Montreal-based Atopia films. He also has written for
leading web sites such as bonjourquebec.com (a leading tourism
Web site jointly operated by Bell Canada and the Quebec Tourism
office) and corporate videos for conglomerates such as Asea
Brown Boveri.
On top
of his entertainment-related activities, Ivan also has a wide
ranging experience in marketing, management consulting, strategic
analysis, and assisted various companies improve their brand,
increase their market share and customer base.
He has
a degree in political science from McGill University in Montreal
as well as an extensive screenwriting formation from UCLA
Extension. He presently lives with his family in Santa Monica,
California.
